[color=#00ff00]特徵：[/color][color=#ccffff]魚迷常說：[/color][color=#00ff00]「熱帶魚之飼養，始於孔雀魚，亦終於孔雀魚。」[/color][color=#ccffff]這句話的意思是：孔雀魚體健易飼易繁殖，加上公魚之體色、尾鰭之形狀和色彩變化無窮，更是引人著迷。其主要品種有：野生種、馬賽克系、眼鏡蛇系或蛇王系、劍尾系、無尾系、玻璃系等，如依尾鰭之形狀可分為圓尾孔雀、尖尾孔雀、底劍尾孔雀、頂劍尾孔雀、雙劍尾孔雀、琴尾孔雀、紗尾孔雀、粉紅孔雀、白孔雀.......等等。[/color]
